Why do so many have to pay?
We shed tears for those who are lost.
Why does happiness have to cost?

We try to hold back,
we try not to cry.
You just can’t help it
when people die.

It’s sad too loose the ones we love.
They go to a place up above.

We try to remember
the times we had.
Even when they'd mess up
we couldn't get mad.

They had a long life
but their story had to end.
But it makes you wonder,
will our souls ever mend?

Just remember the good times
and you'll be all right.
Remember when
they held you tight?

They want you to be happy
and meet new people.
Then you two
can share your preacher.

Remember happiness doesn't last forever,
so live life to the fullest and enjoy the pleasure. again this poem kept it's origional perfection... let me say here that I'm so sorry for your father, but you will be reunited in heaven, just make him proud... and he would be proud, you're such a good person... there's a lot I'd like to say but it doesn't come out right, my mind is scrambled at the moment, just keep up the good work, I love your poetry
