Once upon an autumn time
I was about to let go
About to run away from all
Without letting YOU know

I would have done it easy
Without a problem in mind
Until I thought of you
And how you'd been so kind

I decided not to run
Decided not to hide
I returned without a word
And just got on with life

And still I come to you
When things are hard for me
All I have to do is say one word
And you are there to see

Once upon an autumn time
