Array ( [sid] => 79495 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Picking up the peices [time] => 2005-01-11 20:18:24 [hometext] => For my ex boyfriend, Matt who I still love. I hope we can both find happyness. You will always be my best friend no matter what! [bodytext] => I feel traped, I cant go back yet cant go forward.
I want to go back and undo what I have done yet thinking I can is absurd.
I am dying inside without you and I hate myself for hurting you so.
No matter what I do I am stuck with no where to go.
I hold this guilt knowing that if I would not have lost my temper we would most likely still be together.
We once said we wanted to be together forever.
And oh how I long for moments like those again.
You were more than a boyfriend, you were someone I could tell everything to, a friend.
I feel lost and alone without you with me.
It is like my heart is locked and you are the only one who has the key.
Telling you sorry does not seem like enough.
I wish things were better and not so tough.
I want you back in my life, no doubt.
I wish I could pick up the peices and figure out what this is all about. It bothers me when ppl allow themselves to be so wraped up in another who does not want them.It is an alright post but the whole topic really angers me that you have allowed yourself to be done this way.

I agree with afterdark, but at the same time i'm a hypocrite b/c i allow that to happen to myself as well. You're only human, but I liked this poem, i could definitely relate. TD

i agree with the other comments. very good write. sometimes the pieces are meant to be left broken so that something new has the chance to be shattered. something already broken is more likely to get broken again.
