upon the rooftop, in the middle of the night
He forces the decision
you grapple the gun, holding it closer
you are never alone
He offers death to one of three
but who dies rests in your possession
decisions we can't make
but one He forces you to do
right side offers the sole mother of you
one you could never live without
on the leftside, the true love you never had
but the one you'll always crave
in the center of time is you
the wandering personality so few had
WHY?
decide to end the one you choose
He tells you to decide, its so easy
you start to cry
...in agony
pain is nothing but you are below it
He says life is a decision waiting to be made
a wrong and a right to guide all the masses
you stare at both your sides..only one..you say
the Angelic eyes of the one you love pierce
He says to pull the trigger, end it now
WHY?
you slowly raise the evilish device
aiming toward your left
but something hit you
a thought or maybe a notion
I promised never to hurt her
so I won't
closing your eyes you move
you quietly pull the trigger
everything stopped for seven seconds
you remember pulling the trigger
but you woke up
sweat poured over the nightmare
then you realized who you shot
it was you
dead on the rooftop
during the shallow night
a dream never deamnt since
a nightmare of truth
a decision decided [comments] => 2 [counter] => 211 [topic] => 13 [informant] => amos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Nice one Amos, made me think, I probably would have done the same thing.
