I’ve been awaken in my sleep
Loss countless hours of rest
Worrying about you son
I really must confess

If it’s not your health
Then it’s how you’re being raised
Who you’ll turn out to be
In my mind it’s such a maze

What will your first day of school be like?
Will you eat a well-balanced school lunch?
Will you be popular with the girls?
Well at least that one I have a hunch

Will you go off to college?
Will you move away from home?
Will you settle down with a wife?
Or will you feel the need to roam?

Will you find a good paying job?
Can you make you house payments with ease?
Will you live a healthy life?
Will you remember to take you vitamins C’s

Son, I know you’re only two
And these things seem along way off
But I worry about them now
Just like I did last nights cough

I only want what’s best for you
I’d give anything for you to be
Success in your life
Yet your future I can’t see

So I'll worry until then
And I'll teach you along the way
Offering wisdom and guidance
To get you to that day

I liked this ....We worry about our children when they are small,we still worry about them when they become teenagers and then adults. But there are so many joys, smiles, and laughter along the way.All we can do is always be there for them.take care ju
