The plague is with no exception purer Freelance junkie full of furor Fusty ways to purge Reviled uproar Fastidious pundit whispers to his pulpit The critic...to be continued... Should be terminated Will be fulminated We need not you to defeat the purpose of trying Puncture the paper with your red pen Judged- can only be a sin Of those and you who love to live The plague is with no exception an obstacle As seen from falling from the goal Quit smoking critique Except to accept

Elisabeth, honey, we all face those kinds of people in life. Most of those people that criticise (did I spell that right?) are only taking out their anger on others, or trying to feel more secure about themselves by making others feel insecure. I have had some bad experiences with people judging me, for my height, for my hair color, for the stupidest things imaginable and it hurts for them to say or think all of that about me. Trust me, we have all experienced feelings like this and you are definitely not alone.
Your poem is one that all people can relate to, and it takes someone very talented to write a poem like that. I loved reading all your work, you are such a great writer. I just wish you'd post more of your poems, but the greatest things in life don't come along too often. This one is also my favorite of all your work. Take care!
Blessings
Love, Jenna |
