Shoot your star to the brightest high
and us, the world, will be your audience.
May we be your indulgence
a passing light of your fancy.
Encaptured in your ambition, but fallen -
with you i am humbled, low.

And I dare to place my star in your sky
to believe parallel lines
could ever bend and entwine.

Shoot our hearts to the brightest high
and we, together, will conquer the world.
Tangle our paths so to lose the ends and beginnings
smudge our lines into an irretrievable One.
Your glow illuminates my shadows,
deepens my dark, you feel the pull as I lag behind.

And I dare, with you, to fly
to believe parallel lines
could ever bend and entwine.

My heart, free and flying, fallen for you
captures your love, when I breathe it is for you.
But shoot your star to the brightest high
and my heart cages your life.
I see you caught in a moment of truth,
half of you loving to stay, half needing to fly.

So i realise,
we walk not one path
just parallel lines.

:-) Very hard subject, parallel lives should not connect, but often do with negitive results. Cheers - Arsenic

Oooh, I'm glad I didn't miss this.
This is great, and it's true for many relationships. It's hard to know if you're on one line or parallel lines sometimes, and finding out is always rather hard..

Anyway, I'll shut up talking rubbish now. lol.

Great write hunni,
I wish I could write like this,
*hugs* Phil xxx
