My hearts frozen over
cease a heartbeat hear no pounds
there's no thing as trust one another
it's to hard when deceit lies around
I thought of loving you forever
But we both know we can't be together
no one will want no one will stand
if we go thru with our love's plan
So I'm opening up but I have changed
and cold as a stone I will remain
my eyes will lust you
my lips will kiss
And I'll always love you
But not now, not like this...

| I LOVE this poem! I mean honestly, no hyperboles or nething..this was good. Never have I ever captured what you're saying in this poem so easily and effectively. You've practically summed up in one poem what I've tried to do for the past year! This had such a strong beginning and even stronger ending, which resonated with me the most. I really look forward to reading your other work. Amazing. |
