Though its just One Night
I still feel so alone
Lying here in bed
Waiting by the phone.
Needing just to hear
Your voice so I can sleep
Knowing that your heart
Is here tonight to keep.
It holds me safe and warm
And wraps around me tight
But yet, Im missing you
Though its just One Night.
Its hard to be alone
I want you by my side
To whisper in my ear
My arms are opened wide.
Tomorrow soon will come
Again, you will be here
And then Ill overcome
This missing you, to tears.
I cannot wait for sunlight
To start out that new day
Its terrible, this One Night
Missing you this way.
But still Im feeling comfort
Knowing youre in me
And that you took me with you
And that you wont be lonely.
Somehow Ill make it through this
Its just One Night alone
I know that you would be here
If you could, its your home.
So know, Im here just waiting
I love you, get here fast
Its just One Night without you
But forever, we will last.
Time to try to sleep now
I know Ill meet you there
Its just One Night, Ill hold on
Ill make it, with a prayer.
Goodnight my love, Ill see you
Ill dream of you my dear
One Night and youll be back home
One Night and youll be here.
