I saw you there with no one around
Oh how I wanted to come inside
Just to share a moment of what we had
I had to stop and watch for a moment
To get a glimpse of what we had
I am still afraid of rejection of your turning away
So there I sat just so I could look at what
I miss so much
The memories of what we had came rushing back
I had to get away
Would you have shared your morning thoughts
Would you have told me I am still beautiful in your eyes
Even through a window you are still as handsome
As you are in my dreams and fantasies
When I look out into the night I see you standing
With a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye
Your voice is calling for me to watch the shooting stars
But when I reach for your hand you run away
That’s why I did not come near when I saw you there
I want our lives to be like days gone by
