Array ( [sid] => 81854 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Broken Yesterday [time] => 2005-01-28 12:32:48 [hometext] => this is about wasting ur life on shallow things, and feeling hopeless like you can' t make up for lost time, i hope ppl can relate, and plz tell me what you think! [bodytext] => Verse 1: Looking at yesterday like you never have before
Realizing that you could have done more
But you wouldn't, you couldn't,
Stand to risk it all
Now you're watching
What you never had
Crumble and fall

chorus: It's broken, the words you haven't spoken
Have a debt, money you shouldn't owe,
People you haven't met, watch them turn and go
You broke yesterday
what are you gonna do today
And wil you catch me as I fall

Verse 2: So now you're alone
Left in a life with no one
All you have now is the memory
Of what could be
Because you broke yesterday
Pushed away who should stay

chorus two times

Verse 3: You got a broken last year
Wiht standing tall fears
And a broken last week
Left you feeling weak
And a broken yesterday
A broken yesterday
What are you gonna do to today [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 34 [informant] => dreamer_for_eternity [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

Verse 3 is a little odd. "You got a broken last year;" a broken *what*? Almost seems like you left out words you meant to write. But keep writing! Cheers!

Something's broken, tim wasted could've been spent on something worth something. yeah the story of my life,..... very good, but a little short, i suppose if it had a tune it would be all the worth. well, i wrote a poem similar, pertaining to a different category, but containing yesterday with something broken.... i like yours though, my sounds miserable...

Hmmm, I like this. I don't think it's really short... I have seen shorter songs. But then, I'm not an expert. lol.

I can relate to this is some ways. I have wasted alot of my life.
Good write.

*hugs* Phil xxx
