Never did I think she’d be the one to leave a scar
The love I feel for her is definitely rare
It was to her in which my soul I did bare
I can’t believe, she had me so open
That’s really not something, I do often
As long as she’s happy, then I am too
Who the hell am I kidding, that’s just not true
She really thinks she knows how I feel
But she only knows a part of it, not the whole deal
It sucks how caught up, I am with her
Every time she touches me, she makes my heart sore
Because she’s the one, that I cannot have
And when she mentions someone else, it’s my heart that she stabs
But how could she know cuz I hold it all inside
I keep myself going, by thinking all in due time
I know we won’t ever be, yet still hold on to hope
When I finally had accepted the fact, all I did was mope
At least we are, very good friends
I wonder if that’s enough, to help my heart mend
So there you have it, this is my truth
As I come to terms with it, sitting on my stoop

I really like this..two lines in particular..
#1. I know we won’t ever be, yet still hold on to hope
#2.As I come to terms with it, sitting on my stoop

It says what is in my heart.. of course I don't have a stoop..but when I think of it..I do stoop in my posture..LOL..
