Meant to Be
I don't want you to be
Angry with me
But you won't see that
Since you're never coming back
All of the mistakes
I've made
All of the hate
I've feigned
Made you go away
All of the time I spent
Thinking this was meant
To be
Was all a lie to believe
And reality knocked me off my feet
All of the mistakes
I've made
All of the pain
I gave
Made you go away
All this time I sought
For the answers to these thoughts
But I
Fail with every try
With fate in control of my life
I'm sorry that I angered you
I don't know what else to do
But try and get through
Without you
Because this was meant to be
And now I'm without a source of misery
