Array ( [sid] => 82267 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Dreamer [time] => 2005-01-31 10:29:31 [hometext] => I wrote this one restless night, with Shakespeare in mind, simply due to his type of english. Reality is something so...indescribable, I wanted to touch upon it. Constructive Critiques wholeheartedly invited. [bodytext] => I lie awake,
On a bed of stone,
Dreaming such simple dreams.
My eyes are cock’d,
I am alone,
Ev’rything what it seems.

Toss and turn,
Consciousness slips,
Dreams so wickedly real.
Eyes to and fro,
Happiness dips,
I don’t know how I feel.

Where am I now?
In a world of stone,
Dreaming such simple dreams.
My eyes are cock’d,
I am alone,
Ev’rything what it seems…

I have a poem title The Dreamer. Yours is better, I really like the use of repetition and imagery

Short but sweet and just as beautiful as the others that I have read of yours so far. Nicely done. :o)

Take care

This is absolutely PHENOMINAL!! My favorite and I actually mean this time, I have decided this is it! I love this!! I also enjoyed the ellision (i think its called (ex: ev'rything)) I have thought of how to fit it in to my work I guess I'm just not there yet, this was very well done.

Just phenominal!

I always enjoy a good, veiled write. You did well with this piece Marc. The flow was smooth, your words were left open to interpretation, and it really gets the readers thoughts going. Like usual, I found nothing to critique on your write! Keep it up!
