Many well wishes there've been
And hopes, dreams and prayers
The hard work we've put in
Has been ended in tears

My heart continually breaks
As I imagine you with others
For me, sleep does forsake
Your time spent with another

No longer seeing clearly
The fog of pain prohibits
I love you too dearly
To express but with sonnets

You keep us apart
My dreams I'll not share
Too close to my heart
My best friend, unaware

Emotional and sad...well-expressed.

I especially liked the line-
'I love you too dearly
To express but with sonnets.'
