You wish you could take back the pain, everything
The remorse you felt for one moment
And now the next you love me
I cant press rewind, life doesnt work that way
I just cant forgive you
Because you could change your mind at any time
You lift me up only to drop me onto concrete
Then you push me down
Before I have time to get back on my feet
Lets face it, we will never make ends meet
I cant handle anymore of this
Pressure raining down on me
So get out of my head, youre already out of my heart
Theres no room for you in this endless vastness
I wish you hadnt said those words that hurt us both
I wish you had said Im sorry
After you were finished screaming
The candles flame died, the book is read
The papers crumbled, we cant go back again
You cant turn back time, no matter what you said
