*************************************

what happens to the world of a little girl
when you take away her only voice and break her crayons?
what happens to the life of an addict
when you have locked up his crack?
what happens to the smokers, whose kids decide to trash all the cigarettes?
and what happens when you steal from me the only thing i had left?

who are we without our imperfections?
where do we go to vent now?
and what do we do when there is no where to run anymore?

ever try to take away a cutter's razorblade?
ever steal the whisky from a drunk man?
do we make ourselves trip up, ruin it all for us, or do you ruin it for me?
who takes away the sun?
and why must the world be filled with the darkness reeking of other people's souls?

who gives them the right to tear out someone's soul?
who gives them the right to torment, tourture, to tease, bully, and break?
when will the pain end?
or is there no life without pain?
so then why do we try to rid ourselves of it?

who has the answers to the universe?
don't answer that.

I think our imperfections are what make us unique and maybe thats why we cling to them for attention, even if we do feel pain in the end.
