I wish I could understand
how the simple touch of your hand
can make it all brand new
and understand why i still love you
Chalk it all up to momentary lust
of a love faded, and dried to dust
I long for your sweet touch
and miss you so very much
To hold someone as kind as you
to stand by and watch you go
makes me so damn blue
but I guess you'll never know
I guess we'll never know
what might have been
jus as we did not know how our love would go
but that was way back when
