The blood drips
Melodically from my skin
As the poison spreads
With venomous pain
Within

The reasons go deeper
Than the blade ever could
But the shallowness
Dulls the serrated edge
Rusted over with tears

Void of all emotions
That were slowly killed
By the deserving guilt

The metal's passion
Is fed with blood
And fulfilled with death

Compensating the sacrifice for it
With what was wanted in the end
But the serrated edge is too dull
From all of the blood that's left it full
With lack of passion [comments] => 9 [counter] => 208 [topic] => 13 [informant] => essentially9 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
