Hey I agree everything is marketing, marketing and more marketing especially around Christmas time or w/e the 'appropriate' term is nowadays. I dont understand the electric cattle prods to Turkish torturers line. That was sort of confusing and I dont think by buying something your selling your soul, but this was a very good, provocative poem. Way to be!

Hi Bobo, thanks. We manufacture and sell the Turkish police their favourite instruments of torture.... Buying things you need and the occasional luxury is no problem. But the consuming that's going on now will destroy the natural things of this planet.. it'll only take time. Look at where we've come in terms of consumption in the last 200 years. We have 5,000,000,000 years of living still to go... The path we are on isn't sustainable. We need to start to live low maintenance lifestyles to give us a sustainable future. That means buying less goods. The machine that creates all the stuff is like an enormous vacuum cleaner. It's sucking up the natural things, peoples and cultures of this world. Many species are dying yearly and they wont be coming back... Let's not pay the Earth for the trinkets that line our cell walls... ;D
