[title] => In the hours of my dream

[hometext] => This poem is all about the love that the lady experiences in her dreams. Will her dreams come true? Happy valentines for all readers.
[bodytext] => It has come and brought to me the mighty vision that`s rare A message from my love – What feast shall I prepare? If my dark criticizing eye will close in sleep as I implore The tale of my long-suffering life, I`ll tell my loved one more It`s him, who in waking hours no kindness shows Only in dreams, I see him and so my lifetime goes Some pleasures I enjoy in his presence, who loves not me When awoke, my eyes search for him and makes me see As what I beheld in those waking hours was sweet So pleasant dreams in hours of sleep, my spirit greet Wow! If there were no waking hours, Oh! my love So in dreams there would be no intruder who could remove He the cruel one who in waking hours all ungracious seems Why should he thus torment my soul in my nightly dreams? When I am asleep he is there to hold my form embraced When remaining awake, to fill my heart it has to be considered Those in dreams, who never their lover`s form perceive For them in waking hours who show no love will grieve Here to those, who say that in waking hours he has left me alone In dreams, they surely see him not, - these people of the town!
