Array ( [sid] => 85074 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Der Reisende [time] => 2005-02-20 16:45:10 [hometext] => I am extremely inspired by theoretical physicists and cosmologists, such as Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Brain Greene, and so on, and so on, but I've never had a chance to talk with any of them, which I wish I could. This is about an unknown physicist [bodytext] => A seeker of Knowledge.
Forever an Observer.
He takes life one step at a time,
Taking it as it comes.
He holds himself to the highest of moral and ethical standards,
Not for reward or for fear of punishment,
But simply because it is the right thing to do.

His standards are constantly raising,
In music, in emotions,
And in the words that he speaks and writes.
He finds himself always looking outward for more,
For better, for the next step in evolution,
Or whatever it is that brings improvement.

Maybe though, there exists already,
Somewhere out there, the end result,
The highest form that we can become,
The highest we can achieve,
And he is simply out here just trying to find it.

He feels it drawing him in.
He feels its presence, beckoning.
He has always been gradually heading its way,
Every event in his life taking him one step closer,
Until, finally, he can see it.
And there, in its presence,
His journey will be complete.
