Into darkness
Ever deeper
Clinging, desperate
To my dreams, as
One by one they slipped away

Falling farther into nothing
Hope long faded
Lost and lonely
Silent, crying
Crimson tears flowed
Down my cheeks, a dying rain

Then all at once you found me
In my darkness
You called to me
Reached your hand out
Brushed the tears off
With your love erased my pain

Now once again I'm falling
So completely
Out of darkness
Into your arms
Ever open
Where it's safe to dream again

That last line ... yeah ... I like that. I like the whole feel and layout. I know how this feels too so it reaches me on a personal level too.

That gave me an unexpected chill.
It's a cliche but..it's simplicity was beautiful.

Gosh, this gets me. I'm with Jarred and Nazzy --- that last line is potent. On a purely personal level... it just tears me up.

Beautifully expressed! There is a lovely transition in this piece... you've obviously found what so many seek.

Still... trying to find a way to dream again,
~Snemmy~

Wow!
This is wonderful, there is so much emotion in this and you make the words almost run together, as if they are meant to be together. The flow is just perfect.

Gorgeous poem my friend,
*hugs* Phil xxx
