[bodytext] => As I watched you pass slowly Tears streaming down my face And you left us With only a thumbprint on my heart Where you had touched it, and your love grew Like a wild rose, streaming through bare fields, when all hope was lost. You showed your face, and made me smile I did some pretty stupid stuff Like when I was sick And I broke your arm by throwing that table But you just looked over it As if it was nothing And hugged me everyday Even though I was scared to touch you But you touched me anyway And it felt so right Being with you Even though when I got mad, you ran from the room crying You were my baby sister And I loved you so much You even looked up to me, as a parent figure Cause’ dad left us when you were just born And you never knew him And Rupert passed, and it was like you had lost a father You did not shed a tear though You were so brave You were only two You knew what happened Even though we told you he was just on vacation But you did what you could You hugged us everyday, and you loosened that pain And we all thank you for that But most of all I want to thank you for being my sister And I wanted to tell you goodbye for the last time So here it goes, Yours truly.
