[time] => 2005-02-27 18:21:45 [hometext] => I wrote this poem while my brother was getting into trouble and was getting all the attention from my mom and the rest of the family. [bodytext] => Speak to me as if I were nieve.
Speak to me as if I were small.
Say something, do not leave.
Say something, anything at all.

Speak to me behind a mask.
Speak to me when you gat a chance.
Interaction is all I ask.
A kiss. A hug. A smile. A glance?

Speak to me, it could not harm.
Speak to me, as if you care.
Notice me, see my arm,
notice its no longer bare.

Speak to me, yell if you must.
Speak to me, be harsh, be mean.
I do not need, nor want your trust.
All I need is, for once, to be seen.

Speak to me, with or without a smile.
Speak to me with any tone.
Behind this wall, there is a child,
a child who is alone.

Speak to me as if I were pure,
Speak to me as if I were evil,
JUST SPEAK TO ME.

Very sad write. I can relate to this piece. I know what it's like to get no attention from the people you really care about. I truly hope things get better. I look forward to reading more of your work.
