When the days have no end
When no face resembles a friend
When no one will let me be
God walks with me
When my heart is filled with doubt
When Heaven's tears have all dried out
When I am drowning in the seas
God walks with me
When temptation is all I can feel
When the flames reach up to lick my heels
When I'm overwhelmed by greed
God walks with me
And when hope finally floats my way
When happiness decides it's here to stay
When I'm surrounded by my every dream
God will walk with me
Because He takes my hand
And He sets me free
And no matter the road
God will always walk with me

What a wonderful reminder. I once wrote something called Longing to walk with You.
It's something I feel more strongly every day.
You describe it with finesse and beauty.

I love this. It's lovely. The use of he repeated line is great too, it isn't annoying, it is just right.

I love these lines. Especially the symbols.. tears and seas. Very nice metaphor.. analogy. They are alike, both salty.
*****Because He takes my hand
And He sets me free
And no matter the road
God will always walk with me
You speak truths. I love your write.. It is a wonderful and filled with His Passion.
