Array ( [sid] => 86518 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Going to Uncle Ike's [time] => 2005-03-05 12:56:42 [hometext] => Today (3-5-05) is my Uncle's 80th birthday! Our family is throwing him a birthday party and giving him a scrapbook of memories, so I wrote this for him to remember on down the road! [bodytext] => We're going to Grandma Dona's
Mom would say!
Children's minds would think,
Oh! What a happy day!

As we pass the road sign,
Meghan would scram
"Look, look, look,
We're almost there!"

Tana pipes up in the back
"I can not wait!
But is Uncle Ike home?
I want to visit him today!"

As little minds race,
Through their memory banks of time.
They come up with memories so fond,
And they ask "Do you remember?"

Playing on the tractor or
Looking in the barn?
Oh what fun it is
At Uncle Ike's!

Do you recall the
Stories he would tell?
While keen little ears
Were listening.

Each moment you shared
Each story you told
Went straight to our hearts
Which you helped to grow!

Today is your 80th birthday
A day so grand!
We can't tell you how much we wish were there
If only to give you a hug and hold your hand!

WE LOVE YOU UNCLE IKE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
