Array ( [sid] => 86710 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => FINDING THE LIGHT [time] => 2005-03-07 10:28:03 [hometext] => a spiritual poem, finding the light is a metaphoric term for finding what we all hope to reach at the end of our lives. for most of us the light would be God but for others it is something else. [bodytext] => If I look afar I can see the light
But the further I go it''s out of sight
The faster I run the quicker it goes
And why life’s like this no one knows

I need that light to get me through
And if I don''t what will I do?
We all have one to make us shine
Could this be why I can''t find mine?

The harder I try to get that light
The harder it seems to win the fight
I really feel like slipping away
For there''s no reason here now to stay

But then I think it''s meant to be
For no one can get that light but me
And years gone by it''s still not here
But something tells me I''m drawing near
