Array ( [sid] => 86783 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => high school happened [time] => 2005-03-07 21:13:05 [hometext] => my best friend and i had a band and stuff. it was really fun. but now he don't wave at me when i pass him in the hallway. goin to high school changed everything. [bodytext] => i watch you from a mile away
it's growing farther every day
i've got nothing left to sya
and i don't really want to about it

every conversation
is filled with empty space
every second gone by
is another that we waste
every word that we don't speak
only makes us grow weak

i told you everything
i'm not sure why
but i didn't think that you could lie
to yourself
about this
but you did

and now can you feel the awkwardness
and i don't know how we let it come to this
what happened to our plans
we had a little band
we were gonna make it big
we dropped everything for this [comments] => 4 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 43 [informant] => needs_change [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

This poem caught my attention because of the band, and the high school, if ur saying u gave up trying 2 make it cause of high school
a wiser decission u could not have made in your life, how do i know this? i did the just the
opposite and 2 day am still paying the piper,
and my guess is i 'm way ahead of u, in the years dept. what ever u do, stay in school, friends come and go but education like real love, comes but once in a life time, if even that , an essensial peice of writting well done . . .

Schools not the greatest but still and i had problems with school too. I never really had anyone to trust but i was very judgemental ... and now i'm at a completly different school ( highschool) as a sophmore at winslow instead of being with ppl i knew i had to start over completely its only the atitude and howw u represent yourself and if there your true friends or if there sum1 u love , they would always b there for u ... dont give up school... if thats what u thought bout ...

It's hard to fill the space. The first step is to confront it. Beautiful poem.
