Mine For A Day

So lets pretend, just for a day
You were mine, things went my way
We would wake up early, and go to the gym
Maybe even manage, to get in a swim
I'll cook our brunch, while you jump in the shower
30 minutes later, the food you devour
You wash the dishes, while I take a bath
And you watch The L Word and sit & relax
Finally Im done, so I get myself together
Its a gorgeous day out, such beautiful weather
So we decided, to spend the day outdoors
The whole time I was ecstatic, cuz I was all yours
Its about that time, time to eat
So I take you to a restaurant, and lead you to your seat
The food was delicious, it was to die for
But the nights not over, wait theres more
We take a walk, down by the airport
To watch the planes, as if it were a sport
We lay there cuddling, in each others arms
Everythings so perfect, until I awake to my damn alarm!

sounds like my last relationship.......it kinda makes me sad. ....you ever get the feeling that after that one great love you had in your life, no one ever measures up really? don't know, maybe it's just me thinking too much again...............
