Every wind flowing upon the sod,
Whispers, ‘You must walk this path alone’.

One face engraved on the song of my heart,
A hope for tomorrow I still carry, and
Nights will not be too dim, with them near me.

Let me call this path a promise, let me look
Upon it with eyes that do not fail to recognise,
The small, narrow road that leads home.

Ages whisper their secrets to one who listens,
Of stars in the grey, and stars in the pale,
The beams of the moon, the mist of the day.

There perhaps, in the rains of the mountains,
I will find you, walking softly, one day…
And then, many a mile will seem but one.

But for now, I must believe, what I have not
Yet known completely, only time holds
The keys to unfold all mysteries.

Waters of wisdom flow deeper down,
Into the valley, waters clearer than
Mirrors of the finest silver gleam.

And deeper, yet higher the way must lead,
And follow I will, though my heart
knows, ‘I must walk this path alone.’ [comments] => 10 [counter] => 317 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Tanmaya [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 25 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

I am moved and because fo my feeling so close to the perspective in this piece I feel not so alone. It is indeed ironic. Thank you so much for bringing me farther down the path to my future with a much needed lover/mate/friend/grace infinite. I hope you find yours. peace.

This one feels especially personal for you. It's a message that isn't taught by words and ideas, but by experience and the faint echoes of the Spirit.

Well done, well done.

Wow. For some reason I found this one really sad. Not just normal sad, but really sad. I fell like you were sad when you wrote it. If so, smile, ok.
Take care.
