I had to say good-bye
It just wasn’t working
I had to say good-bye
No matter how much it hurt me
They say opposites attract
But we’re different
More than yin and yang
More than day and night
I had to say good-bye
I know I hurt you too
Probably more than it did me
And for that I am sorry
You were not what I needed
You made me worse
My already hectic life
Was getting more confusing
More complicated
So I said good-bye
No reason No excuse
I said good-bye
Just when you said hello
