People often seek the world’s treasure
Thinking that somehow it can measure
The worth of what they are living for
Never contented, still wanting more

People often see wealth as money
The more you have proves you are wealthy
But I don’t need any piece of gold
I just need you to love and to hold

Many of us have complex questions
Beneath them are selfish intentions
But I have all the answers I need
As long as you are here, I can breathe

Some people want Christmas everyday
While some don’t even have food all day
I, for one, can withstand my hunger
But without you, I’d live no longer

Many people seek for more power
While some pray for miracles each hour
This is my miracle seen by few
Contentment, which I have found in you

Most people prefer enormous wealth
While others prefer eternal health
I prefer having you by my side
With you, I’m forever satisfied

For I won’t last another moment
I would never endure such torment
I’d rather endure having nothing
Than forever live without meaning

Because the best things in life are free
As long as I have you here with me
And I’d choose you over everything
Without you, everything means nothing
