I would do anything, so I wont have to live with it day after day
I keep messing up, I cant get my life straight
I just want to kill the pain before it is too late
Everything is wrong, and it is no ones fault but mine
I have to put on a smile, so everyone will think Im fine
They do not know the pain that goes on inside
No one would even notice if I died
I want to take a knife or gun and kill the pain
But I do not want my parents to think that they are to blame
I love them to death, They've done everything right
Its not their fault that their son is just not right
I cant live up to everything everyone wants me to be
All I can do is be me
But nothing is good enough for them or me
I wish this pain would just go away and let me be
These sucide thoughts race through me head
One day I will be at peace, in Shangri-la, when Im dead [comments] => 5 [counter] => 237 [topic] => 36 [informant] => sexytexasguy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 6 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

Well this is so sad.....you say Death is upon you? Well i hope that's not true...i know things can at times seem so hard to deal with but i read somthing when i first came here that helped me tremendously, and i want to share it with you ...it's somthin someone said that helped me....here it is....The reason for feeling this way is because you are focused on
something that is hurting you. The hardest thing to do right
now is put that hurt aside and find something else to focus
on but that is exactly what you have to do. Look for an activity,
a friend, a pet, anything that gets your mind off your pain and
then focus on that for a while. Soon you'll realize that there
is life worth living. The pain will still be there, a constant
ache in the background but soon you'll be able to handle it
and move on.
I look at it from this point of view. When things are at their
worst and I feel like giving up I realize that from now on
they can only get better than what they are and I realize
that I have a lot to look forward to but not if I'm not
here to experience it. ......now those are the exact words of the person who said them......this person doesn't even realize that by what was said that it helped me...but i wanted to share that with you.....by the way i live in Texas too....if you want to talk i dont mind listening ok?....thanks for sharing this poem it's very sad and has strong words to it..welcome to YPDC my friend i will look forward to more of your poetry...
