Two hearts, beating as one
Four arms, holding an uncommon dream
Just a desire for the life of us

Calming peace from cloudless skies
Easy smiles and comfortable shoes
Brief tears and a pleasant garden
A house to make as our home

Friends, and family, as we would want
Work, that isn't and play, that is
Rain, for the flowers and sometimes, the mood
Feasts from the everyday for the need

Bright eyes to savor happy pictures
The strength of two as one
A single wish for simply love
For us, to have, and to give...eternally. Oh, but to drink from this cup. The font of calm in a world of disordered lives. Searching for someone/something that may not exist except in my mind. To run hand in hand and spin in the rain in an embrace of sheer joy. Striving for goals hand in hand as one entity and reaching for the next when that goal is completed. Cherishing the times of good and working together against the hard times. Choosing to overcome all odds to ensure forever. Is forever possible, I wonder? Heartfelt work, Michael.
