[title] => Disgrace of the Social Man

[hometext] => This is the greatest "American Tragedy." Too many people live in darkness, hiding from the ignorant
masses controlled by a system where anything off the status quo is not tolerated. This poem unmasked those who feel disgraced for thinking on a level different from the norm, on a level of insight which the truth is shown, and on a level that will never be stopped. Read, Think, Critique, and Act. Thank You - WongFoo [bodytext] => Walking in silence, stomping swiftly on the floor, No lights in the distance, no help for the poor. Struggling for freedom from the rights of the rich, Capitalist propaganda saying equality's a *****. Where's my help, does world have heroes, Or just manipulated minds being fed by Cheerios. A one-man army can't do it alone, Workingmen Unite as flesh and bone. No one hears me, my cries of sorrow, Again I will try, perhaps tomorrow. Optimisms bleak in the eyes of today, So I fight with words, with one thing to say: Material for value, material we elect, Material society, material dialect. The end of funding from the corporate hand. The end of the notion of our private land. The end of the individual, we unite as a clan. The end of the Capital, the rise of the Social Man. The day will come when I am sane, People will look no longer in vein. Expressing my views will be seen as art, No longer will these views be just in the heads of the smart. So here right now stand and let your voice be heard, Don't hold back a sentence, don't leave out a word. Then soon the world will see through the smoke and mirrors, And Capitalism will fall, beginning the rise of the cheers. And on that day there will finally be a smile on my face, No longer will this Social Man live in disgrace. Yet this is a dream, the world is still dark and gray, So I fight with words, with one thing to say: Material for value, material we elect, Material society, material dialect. The end of funding from the corporate hand. The end of the notion of our private land. The end of the individual, we unite as a clan. The end of the Capital, the rise of the Social Man.
