Any other person, on any other day
Looking all mighty, nice things and all
Put up a front with not a gaze at all
In the direction of where they stride over yonder
I really hope that they ponder
“Is that her?”
“Wow has she changed”, with “Excuse me sir”
In a daze

But I am just kidding myself
Why does it matter? I’ve got my health!
Really hoping that they stay
Across the street, as far away
As they can, I don’t need confrontation
I might just cry of loves incarceration
A heart that they have today
And for the last three years, OH I pray
Can I have another heart?
Free this one? Does it need a new part?

It wasn’t a mighty voice
It wasn’t even an easy choice
So not thinking, I walked across the street
Taking a chance for us to meet
To see if there are any sparks
Take our conversation to a park?

Thankfully it was the same
On their side too, there was no blame
Starting over from square one
Having intentions to make it in the long run

Confusion…. Intrusion…. Make it fade
Any other person, on any other day
Looking all mighty, nice things and all
Put up a front with not a gaze at all

This is definately different, it has a style of it's own ....it's uniquely written and very cleverly worded....thanks for sharing this one i enjoyed it ...
