Everyone dresses up in their sunday best to go to the church so that they can feel blessed,
After church they go home and have their easter feast,
Then they search for eggs with money,and confetti to say the least,
Do you ever stop to think about what happened in the past,
Why we have this holiday,
And what happened for it to last,
Just three days before this jolly day that we celebrate,
Our king, our savior, our provider,
Layed his life on the cross so that we may be born with a clean slate,
So why your at your home eating and searching for eggs,
Remember our king our savior who rose from his grave on this very day. Easter is a time for family,
Easter is a time for friends,
Easter is a time for eggs,
So really Easter seems to be a time for trends,

After church they go home and have their easter feast,
Then they search for eggs with money,and confetti to say the least,

That was great... it really reminds you of the reason for Easter that many miss. Not the chocolate and eggs and birds and such, but the New Life given to us by Our Redeemer. Awesome job! I hope many people read this, and actually understand it's meaning... it is so sad that on these holidays, the true meaning is lost in our modern secular culture. Excellently done!
