If I may recall, you would have had a gentle touch.

I would have to guess, we might have been really close.
We we're probably inseprable, I loved you the most.

In my mind I would imagine, you picking me up from school.
All the kids would always say, that you are awesome and cool.

You'd tuck me into bed, when the bright sun had went down.
We'd play games all through the day, or cruise around the town.

You would make things better, when I felt so sad inside.
I could confide in you, and you made everything alright.

You showed a great love and care, you would have never left me.
I would have never traded you, for all the pretty fish in the sea.

You protected me, from the monsters under my bed.
You told me fairy tells, that filled imagination inside my head.

You taught me right and wrong, you helped me through the day.
You helped me with my school work, you knew all the right words to say.

Generous I was for you, cause you were always there.
To free my spirits wild and free, to show how much you care.

That's what I would have imagined, of what you would have to be.
But none of this fantasy is true, cause you really did leave.

Many, many years ago, when I was a young little girl.
Untold of who you were, in a chaotic, restless world.

Grown with broken wings, from what I had to go through.
But I survived a life of hell, and I even did it without you.
