Tonight by the fire
As shadows play upon the wall
I bask in your love
The memories I recall

The rerun of emotions
The moments of our past
Preserved by my heart
Forever to last

The first “ I love you”

This is breathtaking russ...and the visions are sooo beautiful...thanks for sharing this one....you'll have to write one for ...um....well you'll have to write one about the night after it happens? lol hehe...great write russ keep em' coming...

I agre with oreo...very nice. Made me want to get a fire place and have my wife and I beside it. Please write one for the day after. Thank you for a wonderful poem.
