Be my drug
and cleanse me from within
Take hold of all that breathes in me
Leave the fight for someone else to win
Keep the shackles of m mind
close by to free me
Slip poison on my breath
Let this be my death
Of
A thousand needles
A hundred pills
A moment of isolation
A broken will
Take a knife
to see my reflection
Take my mind
and use your weapon
Break me from a daunting life
and let me lead instead
Kill the zombie in me
Sacrificing all hope I once had
Giving it away for the tears I have bled
A monotonous cycle
Of merciless thoughts
Penetrate my mind
And show me the chase I have brought
Submerge the mentality of a hopeless being
and bear me a song
that longs to sing

| Something weird is going on here...I went to the list of least read... came along your first poem repiled then I went down the list selected another by title alone...low and behold it was another one of yours...I must say I enjoy your writing. |

I HAVE TO AGREE WITH^^^^ I DID THE SAME THING AND FOUND TWO OUTSTANDING POMES I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY THAY ARE THE LEST READ POMES YOU ARE GREATLY TALENTED
