I had a dream last night of you and me your face so pretty and clear to see and it was your beauty, I do decree that struck my love for u, my emily
It was a dream I will not soon forget it is embedded into my mind, there it has been set but, although, to much regret my memory of it is but a silhouette
we were walking over the beaches hand in hand you gracefully striding over the sand your beauty was enough to knock me out your smile enough to make me sing and shout
as we approached the city square I put my hand to your beautiful hair and then you did as I thought u would never dare you gave me a kiss on the lips, and my heart rose into the air
I do declare, there were other people there but of those people I did not care because the only thing I cared to see was the image of your face staring back at me
but then u left leaving me in great bereft but you, with your beauty and your fair handed me a token to show how much u care
but it was only a delightful fantasy you are not here as I wish u could be I must wait for the happiness and glee of your returning back to me

This is such a sweet but sad poem. It's so well written with an excellent flow. I really enjoyed reading. Great work! |
