I have been waiting each day,
for the Sargent to say,
that Sue my daughter,
is no longer missing near water.

What a long week,
the Sargent said they seek.
But each day looks worse.
I sit in my chair and curse.

I hear a bang,
my heart it sang!
As I hug her and chat about things,
together again but suddenly it -rings...

When I pick up the phone.
-I realise I was alone-.

In suspence, Sargent did tell.
"They found Sue she"s doing so well."

We're coming home now, to bring her home...
In shock, I'm in bed I moan.

With another policeman beside,
he tells me "Sargent and Sue died".

He trys to resusitate me,
but I desire to be with Sue- finally.

A sad, emotional and heart touching write.
A desire to be with the one u love only to be told they are no longer. I hope all is well my friend. Otherwise a truly touching poem.
Hugs,
Sue

It seems like there is a lot of emotion behind this poem. I could feel your pain but the tone seemed a bit matter of fact to me, i would have been pulled in more had you added more emotion. Great poem though.
