why can't it go away
I really wish it would
Daddy, do you want to stay

I love them both so much
but does he still love my mother
or is he lying when he says he does
and he only loves me, my sister and my brother

I wish it would be okay
and I wish I didn't have to cry
just thinking about
if daddy decides to say good-bye

I know this isn't my fault
I just want to make it okay
for my sister and me
I wish daddy means what he says

when he says he loves her
but he didn't look me in my eyes
I'm starting to think
everything he says is a bunch of lies

so daddy are you telling me
the truth and not a lie
cause if you are
why do you still make mama cry

she loves you very much
and so do I
but if you don't love her anymore
you need to tell her instead of lie

I don't know what to think
or if I should even understand
why can't I just see
you hold mama's hand

and tell her you love her
but I don't know if you really do
I'm sorry daddy
but I love mama and you too
