Wouldnt you hate to be immortal living eternally like the moon?
Walking endlessly across this world over death you would croon
Its my sudden awakening that I shant live forever
Not in this life anyway emancipation is my greatest endeavor
For I dont think I am strong enough to shrug it all off and deal
With getting shot down and being robbed of joy by ones who do not feel
Its not that I would like to die but sometimes I cant handle this pain
So I better not be reborn I could not battle through this all again
No I dont think dying is sad not when youre alone and its your time
Maybe its a true blessing a gem in the end we are destined to find
For now though Ill have faith in God that he may bring in a new world of peace
Because we cant live forever in this cruel world our groaning we want to cease
