blind out the memoires we've held onto for so long,
dont let this dagger twist through your heart today
the thought of him will undoubtably kill.

His bitter sweet smile haunts the pages of your story,
laughing at every move your dare to make.
Everyone knows your deepest secrets now,
you will never be able leave this tale behind.

You can only run, run as quick as you can,
but your getting no-where now,
as he pulls you back with the strings to your heart,
the hurt is too much for one person to take.

Dry blood stains the wrists of so many tonight
and unknown they will die, unwanted and alone,
but who would care for someone they don't know,
who would care for someone like me.

I really love that stanza.

I like this, it's unusual, I never expected it from the title.

Great write,
Phil
