[hometext] => I really like this one. It has a unique feel to it in my opinion. When I say unique, I mean unique in the sense that it doesn't share so much of a common thread with my other poems.
I wrote this one while inspired by the scenery where I grew up. I spent most of my life next to a beach, a severaly rocky one, but a beach nonetheless. I've spent countless hours throughout my life on this beach in Topsail, and even though I've since moved many times, I still find myself back there rekindling old flashes of imagination...staring out at the ocean.
