Open your eyes
Look into the darkness
The darkness of your own soul
look at the evil that surrounds you
Look at the darkness that fills our world today
Look at all the pain we inflict upon our own race
look at all the death and torture
All life is dying away
Does this sadden you?
Does it hurt to know that you helped
to cause this evil darknes
that is slowly taking over everything?
How do you feel
when you see helpless children
cowering in the shadows?
The painful cries
of those the darkness have devoured
They are danmed for all eternity
Louder and louder the screams becaome
the sound of running feet hitting the ground
but there is no where to run.
It devours everything in its path
untill its all gone.
Stop
open your eyes
look into the darkness
that hides within your own soul.

This is a awesome write Tye I wish I would have read it sooner. I remember that day all to well it really changed my life being in the army. Since that day we never get a brake from the mid east I’m here now so that says it all. But take care and I’ll read more of your writes that I’ve missed. I going to go back and read a lot of peoples old writes if I like their new ones. I like your writes so I’ll be reading more I'll also be reading more of your dads work. Your friend…..Steve
