Trying to put together fantasy and reality,
A puzzle for one’s mind.
In another world there’s the ID,
What do I want? What do I need? What must I have?
Completely focused on one’s self,
An unconscious state of mind.
Then there’s the super ego,
To punish or reward,
What are the chances? What are the risks?
Should I do that? Should I do this?
My state of confusion.
With you,
You’re like one big mess-
I can’t tell what’s going to happen next,
You’re a drug,
Psychedelic! I feel high…
I’m super ego tripping through your mind,
Is it healthy? Probably not,
Am I clean? You’re the addiction floating through me,
That’s probably my heart problem.
And I want to fly high above the clouds,
Your hands are cold,
How do I quit when I don’t want to let go?
When I’m super ego tripping,
My mind’s completely blown,
Soon my heart will switch to shut down,
It’s better than a world unknown.

Super Ego Tripping

In one world there’s the ego,
Trying to put together fantasy and reality,
A puzzle for one’s mind.
In another world there’s the ID,
What do I want? What do I need? What must I have?

hey,nice write i enjoyed it...thats how i write too i write what i feel thats a good way of writing it keep up dont put urself down like that have sum confidence cause u r good at writing nice poem.
