One is heartbreaking
One entails a dreamer's glory
One is unknown
As the tears rain upon faces
The world disappears
Emotions dance in their frozen places
A story unfolds
A new baby is crying
Daddy's little girl is given in marriage
Somebody's mother is dying
And yet another doesn't know why
He won the gold
She learned the meaning of life
His daddy left him in the cold
Her memories remain too close in mind
It's at that moment in time
Control is robbed from your hands
You can't figure reason or rhyme
But tears fall
It the emotion some do share
Some fear it and hide
It's prescence is not rare
All can feel it's power
Some refuse the story to be told
Others dwell in oblivion
Some to its freedom hold
Can you hear your story? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 21 [informant] => imaginestars [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

A very heartfelt poem...and true! I liked it a lot because you're message is so specific and your examples are so diverse. Everybody has their own reasons to be sad, to cry, everyone has there own "story", and so we can all relate to the message that you're relaying. Well done!!

Krystal

Great poem. It makes people think. It made me think. Sometimes I just don't want to know my story though because it's too sad.
